Color Your Calendar

A Community Coloring Calendar Fundraiser

Coming Soon – Preview Information

What Is Color Your Calendar?

Color Your Calendar is a community-driven coloring calendar fundraiser created by Just Add Creative, a nonprofit dedicated to making creativity accessible to all.

Each year, we will curate a 14-month coloring calendar featuring original line-art illustrations by local artists. The calendar will be sold as a fundraiser to support Just Add Creative’s free art kits and creative programs serving children, veterans, seniors, and community partners.

The calendar is designed to be interactive — not just viewed, but colored, shared, and enjoyed throughout the year.

Who Is This For?

Color Your Calendar is intended for:

  • Adult artists (18+) living or working in South Florida

  • Artists working in any medium that translates well to bold, clean line art

  • Emerging and established artists interested in community-based creative projects

Artists whose work is not selected for the printed calendar will still have the opportunity to have their artwork shared through Just Add Creative’s free downloadable coloring pages, expanding community access to their work.

How Will It Work?

  • Artists will be invited to submit original artwork that can be adapted into a coloring-page format.

  • A total of 14 artists will be selected for inclusion in the printed calendar.

  • November is reserved for a pre-invited guest artist. All remaining months will be selected through the open call and review process.

  • Selected artists will be featured on Just Add Creative’s website and associated materials.

  • Artwork that meets guidelines but is not selected for the calendar will be made available as free printable coloring pages on our website after the fundraiser concludes.

Detailed submission guidelines, permissions, and timelines will be shared when the initiative officially opens.

Why We’re Doing This

At Just Add Creative, we believe creativity builds connection, dignity, and resilience.

Color Your Calendar supports our mission by:

  • Raising funds to provide free art kits to underserved communities

  • Amplifying local artists and their voices

  • Offering accessible art experiences that invite participation, not just observation

Coloring is one of the most inclusive creative activities — it crosses age, ability, and experience levels. This initiative turns art into a shared community experience while directly supporting creative access for others.
